The sunset yacht makes the light the main event for couples and photographers. The schooner suits families who want scenery, caves and a swim in one programme, and the daytime coastal sail fits a day with other plans. The cards do not describe the hull, so if anyone worries about motion, ask the operator how the boat behaves before booking.
Look beyond the word “yacht”. Check whether the booking is shared or private, the group limit, the route and the duration. Inclusions are not uniform either: the schooner names swimming and music, the €80 trip regional food on board, and each private listing something different. Read the card of the departure you want rather than carrying details over from another.
A sunset departure is about atmosphere, a daytime trip about the shoreline, and neither is a promise of continuous sailing. Wind, sea and route decide how much the engine runs.
