Couples can book a wine tasting with tapas or a cheese board, while active travellers have guided bike tours, e-bike rental, a surf class, buggy and jeep options. A private photo session suits anyone who wants pictures rather than sightseeing. Boat motion is not an issue on land, though the sporting and off-road options have their own participation rules.
Read the meeting point before paying. “Algarve” in a title does not mean Vilamoura Marina: cards also name Loulé, Almancil, Quinta do Lago and Quarteira, and a Loulé market trip mentions hotel transfers from selected areas. Check whether the price is per person or per group and whether food, equipment, admission or transfer are included. Keep a whole day free for a park or a long excursion, fit shorter visits around their confirmed start time, and ask the provider about accessibility or age rules when the listing is silent.
Good to know: Be honest with yourself about what Vilamoura is: a resort planned from scratch in the 1970s, with no old town and no fishing-village quarter. Cerro da Vila is the one genuinely historic thing here. For narrow streets and a working market, Loulé is fifteen minutes inland, and Quarteira is next door on foot.
