Krazy World or Family Golf Park: which suits your children?
Updated October 14, 2026 · 5 min read
For most families staying in Vilamoura, book Vilamoura: Family Golf Park Game: it is the only one of the two in Vilamoura itself, costs €18.50 and has the best rating, 4.7 from 288 reviews. Choose Algarve: Krazy World Interactive Park Entry Ticket (€15.95) when the children care more about animals, a pool and slides than about a short outing.

Family Golf Park: Roman gardens, two courses
The park is built around a Roman theme: replicas of Roman monuments in a landscaped garden and 36 holes on two 18-hole courses, the Via Appia, devoted to the history of the Roman Empire, and the Via Lusitânia. Depending on the option you book you play one course or both, so choose two only if the youngest will last 36 holes. The booking page calls the park suitable for all ages and lists a free infant ticket for ages 0–5, limited to one infant per adult. It gives no fixed duration, only a validity of 7 to 40 days, so you are not tied to one slot. There is a snack bar, and only ticket holders may enter the courses.
It is a poor choice for children who want rides: this is mini-golf with a little friendly competition, nothing more.

Krazy World: a small zoo with a pool
Krazy World in Algoz is an interactive zoo. There is a petting farm where children can feed dwarf goats, llamas and deer, an exotic section with turtles, birds that eat from your hand, rabbits, ponies and snakes, plus a dinosaur exhibit, a playground, a spray park, an 18-hole mini-golf course and a pool with a water slide.
Two details decide the day. The water slide has a minimum height of 1.10 m and tree climbing 1.25 m, and pony rides stop at 35 kg, so a small child may watch siblings from the side. And the €15.95 ticket does not buy everything: pony rides, tree climbing, pedal karts, the zip line and private sessions with crocodiles or lemurs are paid separately. Bring swimwear and a towel. The page lists the park as wheelchair accessible and the ticket as valid for one month.

Our recommendation
Book the Family Golf Park game for the easiest day: it needs no drive and it is the best rated. Take Krazy World when you have children of mixed ages who like animals and you accept the drive and the extras. Krazy World is not in Vilamoura, so a hire car in Vilamoura makes the trip simpler.
